What?

The APWA Georgia Chapter is proud to announce the dates and location for its upcoming Annual Meeting and Training Conference.

The conference will feature a streamlined agenda where the full conference will take place over three and a half days. CPWM courses and annual meeting sessions will take place concurrently, and tremendous speakers will be featured as part of general sessions taking place at breakfast and lunch.

The conference will be held at the historic Jekyll Island Club Hotel located at 371 Riverview Dr, Jekyll Island, GA 31527.

When?

Dates of Conference: Begins at 7:30AM Tuesday, July 24th through Friday, July 27th (attendee registration check-in will begin at 7:30AM on Tuesday morning)

Friday afternoon will feature an optional sand dunes repair sustainability project on St. Simons Island.

*Rule for 2018* - All payments are due prior to the start of the conference. No payments will be accepted at the door. 

Vendors

Tuesday will feature over 25 vendors showcasing their products and new technologies through a rapid fire presentation in the morning and an expo in the Morgan Center during the afternoon.

"Get Acquainted Reception"

For the first time ever, Tuesday evening will feature a "get acquainted reception" for all conference attendees sponsored by the vendors which will serve as a great opportunity to get to know your fellow conference attendees in preparation for the remainder of the week.

All lodging will be subject to the $5.00 state transportation fee and any applicable taxes.  This fee is not tax exempt.  In order for the state and hotel/motel taxes to be waived each guest must present the completed state tax exemption certificate and the local hotel/motel excise exemption certificate.  If pets are allowed at the lodging facility there may be an additional fee.
